Shema & Modeh Ani - Decorate / Color / Tie-Dye your Own Pillow
- Buy 6+ for $4.99 each
BH
This pillowcase is a great craft idea that children can keep next to their bed,
reminding them to say Modeh Ani and Shema everyday.
Great for
- Camp Craft (or "Good night Gan Izzy")
- Hebrew School Kids
- Upshernish or Third Birthday Party Craft
The professional illustration is double sided
Side 1: A girl is sleeping while the sun is rising outside. On this side, the entire prayer of Modeh Ani is written in both Hebrew and Transliteration (as well as loose translation). In addition, on the bottom right is the song "Oh every morning"
Side 2: A boy is reading the shema while the moon is outside, and the words "Shema Yisrael" are written in hebrew and transliteration (the entire prayer is not there as we were advised not to print it to avoid kids sleeping on Hashem's name)
Size of Pillowcase is 10x14 inches
How to Decorate: This works with regular markers, colored pencils, crayons, puff paint, or whatever else you'd like.
You can also use fabric markers or permanent markers if you'd like to be able to wash it. Just put a piece of cardboard inside so it doesnt leak onto the other side. You can tie dye it as well.
Then, Fill with stuffing, and just zipper it up!
Optional: Use Glow in the dark pens, and it will glow in the dark!
How to Fill: Either purchase stuffing online, or at your local craft store, or buy A pillowcase in walmart. Stuffing is good for about 1.75 pillows.
Suggested Ages: 3 Years - 12 Years
